Ik taza hakayt he sun lo to anayat he,,
Ik shakhs ko dekha tha ,taron ki tarah hamne,,

Ik shakhs ko chaha tha, apnon ki tarah hamne
Ik shakhs ko samjha tha, pholon ki tarah hamne,,

Wo shakhs qayamat tha, kya uski karen baten,,
Din usk liye peda or uski hi thin raten,,

Kam milta kisi se tha or hamse thin mulaqaten,,
Ankhen thin k jadu tha, palken k talwaren,,

Dushman bhi agar dekhe, so jan se dil haren,,
Kuch tumse wo milta tha, baton me shbahat thi,,

Han tumsa hi dikhta tha, shokhi me shrarat me,,
Lagta bhi tumhi sa tha dastoor_e_muhabbat me,,

Wo shakhs hame ek din gheron ki tarah bhola,
Taron ki tarah doba,
Pholon ki tarah tota,,

Phir hath na aya wo, hamne to boht dhonda,,
Tum kis liye chonke ho, kab zikar tumara he,,

Kab tumse taqaza he, kab tumse shikayat he,,
